Apple iOS vs. Android Lion – What’s The Best?

Are you planning  to develop an app  for your business?

Do you get confused with which platform app you want to develop?

There are many pros and cons of app development platforms – Google Android, Windows and Apple iOS. It can be a tough decision to select the right platform for developing your app.

You should compare Android L Features Compared to iOS 8 and find out what should you choose. The  new  mobile  OS  Android  Lion  is  expected  to  be  released  in  the  next  month  while  Apple’s  iOS  8 released last week. The users across the globe are expecting to find ways to switch from Android to iOS and vice versa.

Apple iOS features:

With the release of iOS 8, technocrats understood that Apple is focusing on reinvention and innovation of apps that are used on a daily basis. The latest operating system from the Apple team will also focus on health and  fitness of  the users  through  the HealthKit app. The iCloud Photo Library and QuickType keyboard  is  the  new  attraction  amongst  the  users.  Apple  is  focusing  on  health  and  also  helping  the consumers manage their home devices.

Google Android Lion features:

On  the  other  hand,  only  little  is  known  about  Google’s  Android  Lion.  Though  Google  has  kept  the information  about  the  new  features  private,  there  have  been  rumors  about  what  Android  L  would feature.  It can be assumed  that Android L would be  focusing on improvement of design and enhance user  experience.  A  new  design  language  called  Material  can  be  unwrapped  by  this  OS.  Android  will show off a flatter look with more depth. It would be exciting to have animation and lighting effects also. Google is all set to woo the users with the enhanced features of Android L.

Which platform is the best for app development?

iOS 8 surely has more  features than Android L, but this does not ensure better performance. Both the companies are  trying  to penetrate deeper into  the market and stand out of  the competition. The one thing  that  is  common  between  both  is:  Design.  Google  and  Android  are  reconciling  the  gap  between their OS.  Apple enjoys  a  unified ecosystem  while Google  has  caught  up  with  its  Chrome  product  and wider  reach.  Android  has about  80%  of  the market  share  because  of  the  varied  versions  it  offers  but Apple would find it difficult to cover up. Apple is better with its enterprise products.

Which platform would be successful can be decided upon the release of the platforms. Things would be clearer once Android L would be released. Let’s wait to see which platform beats the other one in the race.
